So if we survive the "apocalypse" of 2012, you will be able to walk into your local Chrysler dealer and purchase a brand new Tata Nano. Now with the price being around $2,500 in the foriegn market, it would be great if it would come to the US at that price. However, i expect that with added safety features required by the US and other modifications for the US market, the price will rise. How much it will rise is a key to whether the car has sales success in the US. The other issue is if gas is somehow back to $5 when this car comes out, every city dweller may be in the market for one.
